I present to you...

A freaking pillow. That I made all by myself.

It didn't exactly turn out how I wanted it to, but I still love it! The really sad part about this pillow is that I bought all of the fabric in March.. MARCH! This wasn't THAT hard of a project.. It scared the crap out of me, and it took me forever to even cut out the base fabric, let alone start sewing.
And whilst sewing, I got a major blood blister. Don't even know how that happened. Also, my fingers are very crooked.

The lovely back of the pillow. Teal, to match our room colors. And that black string was just a stray that I didn't notice until I took this picture.

And look, I sewed a zipper on it!!! I was so nervous about that part, but it turned out to be quite easy! I watched this video, and it helped out a TON. It was a super lame video, but it worked so I won't complain.
Cody and I got these Santa pillows as a present, and we've been using them since Christmas because we didn't have any pillows for our couches. Hence the reason that I made this pillow cover. And I'm really hoping that I get the second cover finished within the next week or two, instead of dragging it out for another 3 months.

Also, we're going to try to paint our couches so they're not so hideous.. Look for that post coming in the next... 3 years.
