Pile on the miles!

Sharsti Scott is very inspirational when it comes to working out. She's run just under 500 miles this year, many of those were in half marathons and other races. Well she just joined in with a group of people pledging to pile on the miles rather than pounds this holiday season, and I thought that would be a great idea! I know I'm awful at keeping up with workout routines, but I decided that I want to walk anywhere from 1 to 3 miles everyday, preferably with Cody. And since I decided to do it with him, it's an even better reason to go! We went tonight and didn't go too hard, just walked at a pretty dang slow pace, ended up being gone for about an hour and walked 3 miles!! Needless to say, I was pretty proud of us(: So I'll keep updating my miles (probably just on facebook, unless I can figure out how to add it to my blog) and I'm really excited to get more active!
